MiO Schooling Competition: meet the winners!
It’s time to hear from the winners of the Make it Open Schooling Competition! Their passion and dedication were reflected in their remarquable contributions.
In February, Make it Open launched the MiO Schooling Competition, calling teachers with innovative approaches to education, having as objectives:
- Fostering the use of an Open Schooling approach to teaching and learning in primary and secondary education;
- Increasing awareness of the value and benefits of such an innovative pedagogical approach.
The project was implemented within the STEM Discovery Campaign, and its competition attracted 48 eligible applications. The 7 winners had the chance to take part in a two-day workshop at the Future Classroom Lab in Brussels.
Watch the interviews of two of the winners:
- Ruth Zubery, Israel: LS StepUp
- Constantin Lucian Vladescu, Romania: LS Reforestation why and how?
As we are getting closer to the end of Make it Open, this competition represented a perfect finale for the project, not just by opening science education to young students, but also by allowing a greater knowledge exchange between teachers.
